Strategy & Values

“Compassion constitutes a radical form of criticism, for it announces that the hurt is to be taken seriously, that the hurt is not to be accepted as normal and natural but is an abnormal and unacceptable condition for humanness.”
— Walter Bruggemann

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

T.B.R.I.

Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI is particularly effective for children who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.

TBRI is based on three core principles:

  1. Empower: Address physical needs

  2. Connect: Build trusting relationships

  3. Correct: Teach self-regulation and appropriate behaviors

“Children from hard places have learned to survive, but we want to teach them to thrive.”
— Dr. David Cross, Co-Founder of TBRI
